Brooke Brown

Brooke Brown likes to be considered “an ink weaver of life, faith and fiction” because her passion is sharing all types of stories that bring Glory to God and inspire audiences. As a honors graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, she’s Ms. Wheelchair Arizona 2022, Arizona State Coordinator for Ms. Wheelchair America and the founder of Brooke’s Butterfly Touch: Creative Storytelling Services, a ministry that strives to help others discover the power in sharing their own stories with their chosen community and/or audience to cultivate hope, emotional healing, acceptance, and new opportunities. Within the ministry, Brooke leads group workshops and is a content creator, podcast host, and speaker for various audiences. She shares her life experiences with cerebral palsy to inspire others who are facing profound life challenges, using an augmentative communication app on her phone. She is fully able to speak, but the spasticity in all her muscles makes her natural speech more difficult to understand.

She longed to fly beyond her wheels, and in faith, discovered wings of her own.
Every struggle became a doorway to God’s greater purpose.

Why It Matters

Life’s hardest moments often carry the greatest gifts. When stories are told—with courage, clarity and faith—they do more than recount what happened. They reshape how we see ourselves, how others see us, and how we move forward. Our aim is to remove stigma, build bridges and elevate voices that too often stay in the shadows.
